Dean Remke

Dean Raymond Remke, 69, of Pomona, Calif., died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Pomona Valley Medical Center.

Private services were held. Todd Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.

Dean was born March 5, 1931, in Decorah, and had lived in Pomona since 1974.

Retired in 1991, he was a wire repairman for GTE for 34 years.

He was a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of the Aztec Club, Pomona.

Survivors include a son, Kenny Remke of Fresno, Calif.; a daughter, Roxeanne Long of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Darlyne Johnson of Decorah and Phyllis Schimming of Canton, Minn.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
