Mrs. ADDIS (Geraldine Amy Drallmeier) METZDORFF 1925-1946

Geraldine Amy Metzdorff passed away at her home in Chicago, Illinois, Friday, March 1, at the age of 20 years, 7 months and 19 days.

She was born at Castalia July 9, 1925, a daughter of William and Golda (Meyer) Drallmeier.

She was a graduate of the Decorah high school in May 1943.

She was married to Addis Metzdorff on November 10, 1945, at Austin, Minn., by the Rev. Swenson of the St. Olaf Lutheran church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Drallmeier, two sisters, Eva Mae and Darlene of Rice Lake, Wis., one brother, Louis, who is in the Navy somewhere in the South Pacific, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Drallmeier of McGregor and numerous aunts and uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in the Bethany Lutheran church, in Rice Lake with the Rev. Berg officiating and burial was in the Nora cemetery at Rice Lake, Wis.

Relatives who attended from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Carlaus Meyer and family, Mrs. John Kluss, Mrs. Harold Klatt and Nancy of Castalia, Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Meyer of Postville; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Engelhardt and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Clark of Monona; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Drallmeier of McGregor; Mrs. Joe Kluss and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Drallmeier of Marquette.
