Barbara B. Toal

Barbara B. Toal, 66, of Sarasota, Fla. died Sunday, July 16, 2000 of cancer at the Hospice Care Center in Madison, Wis.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 20, at 1 p.m., at Phelps Cemetery in Decorah, with the Rev.Tom Miller officiating.

The Fjelstul Funeral Home is handling arrangements. There is no visitation.

Barbara (Anderson) Toal was born July 19, 1933, the daughter of Charles F. and Lucile M. (Rosenthal) Anderson. She was valedictorian of the Decorah High School Class of 1951.

She was married to James F. Toal, Jr. and was a housewife. They were later divorced. Barbara lived in Sarasota, Fla., Atlanta, Ga., Milwaukee Wis. and Madison, Wis.

Survivors include two sons, Jack and Christine Toal of Monona, Wis. and Andy Toal of Middleton, Wis.; four grandchildren, Alison, Immanuel, Olivia and James; and her mother, Lucile Anderson of Sarasota, Fla.

Barbara Toal was preceded in death by her father, Charles F. (Monte) Anderson.
