Barbara M. Luhman

Barbara M. Luhman, 78, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at Lancaster Care Center in Lancaster, Wis., after a short illness.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m.. at St. Clement's Catholic Church in Lancaster. The Fjelstul Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Barbara (Johnson) Luhman was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Elmer and Christina (Grass) Johnson.

She was united in marriage to Archie F. Luhman June 1, 1946, in Minneapolis. To this union three children were born, David, Kathy and Tom.

Barbara was a member of St. Clement's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.

Survivors include son David and Sue Luhman of Decorah; daughter Kathy Pennekamp of Lancaster, Wis., and son Tom and Deb Luhman of West Union; seven grandchildren, Jenny, Kim, Sara, Patrick, Kevin, Amber and husband Matt, and Adam; and a brother, Jack Luhman of Minneapolis.
