SIDNEY A. FALK, 93, of Decorah and formerly of Chicago, died on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000 at Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah.
There is no visitation in Decorah, as the body was cremated.
A Memorial service was held Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery's Main Chapel in Skokie, IL. Inurnment followed at the Cemetery with Fjelstul Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
Sidney A. Falk was the founder of many manufacturing companies in the Chicago area, including Fort Lock, KXL and ECM Motor Company.
He is survived by his wife, Aase Falk of Decorah; one son, Lloyd, of Deerfield, IL.; one step-son, Arnie of Decorah and two step-daughters, Chris and Karen of Wisconsin.
