Marilyn G. Bloxham

Marilyn G. Noecker Bloxham, 64, of Cedar Rapids died Saturday, July 22 at St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness.

Marilyn was born to Eunice and Clifford Noecker on June 3, 1936 in Decorah.

She married Ronald Bloxham on Sept. 11, 1955 in Waukon. Marilyn devoted her life to her family and her greatest joy was time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; two sons, Bud and Gary, both of Cedar Rapids; and two sisters, Cheryl Linanne and Elaine Bolson, both of Decorah.

Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Jo; three grandchildren, Nick, Jessica and Dustin; two brothers-in-law, Leo Linanne and Gaylen Bolson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, with Rev. Robert Ruppert officiating. Burial is 2 p.m. at Phelps Cemetery, Decorah.

Friends may call at Teahen Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10 a.m. on Thursday.
