Marjorie Peterson
Marjorie R. Peterson, 78, of Sun City, Ariz., died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, in her home.
She was born in Moline, IL, and was secretary for the principal in the Decorah Public Schools.
Later, when she was in her forties, she graduated from Luther College and became a Decorah Junior High School teacher. She was an organist at the Congregational Church.
She lived in Decorah from 1946-71. She moved to Arizona in 1990 from Florida and was a medical secretary and a member of Powerhouse Church.
Marjorie Peterson is survived her husband, Fridolph (who operated the Decorah Monument Co.); a son, Donald of Washington D.C.; a daughter, Mary of Sun City, Ariz, (born in Decorah); and three grandchildren.
