GLADYS JAGERSON, 76, of Decorah, died at the Oneota Riverview Care Center Wednesday, March 10, 1999, after a long illness.

Her body was cremated. Services will be held at a later date, with burial of the remains, at the Freeport Cemetery near the home.

There are no immediate relatives. The French & Balik Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Gladys Jagerson

Gladys Jagerson, 76, of Decorah, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at the Oneota Riverview Care Facility.

Memorial services were held Thursday, April 15, at 1 p.m., at the Oneota Riverview Care Facility, with the Rev. Steven Jacobsen of First Lutheran Church officiating.

Inurnment was at the Freeport Cemetery. The French & Balik Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Gladys (Nesheim) Jagerson was born Jan. 21, 1923, the daughter of Oscar and Gertrude (Aga) Nesheim.

She enlisted in the United States Navy Nov. 17, 1944, and was discharged April 17, 1946. Gladys attained the rank of Seaman First Class and was stationed at naval barracks in Washington, D. C.

She married Royal Jagerson Aug. 15, 1958.

Gladys Jagerson was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her husband. She is survived by relatives and friends.
