Darlene Mae White

Darlene Mae (Benson) White, 65, of Waleska, Ga., died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at University Hospitals in Little Rock, Ark., from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 4, at 4 p.m. at New Covenant Bible Church in Canton, Ga., with the Rev. George Thompson officiating.

Graveside services at Phelps Cemetery in Decorah were held Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. The Rev. James Dale officiated.

Handling arrangements were the Huey Funeral Home in Canton, Ga., and the Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah.

Darlene was a 1955 graduate of Luther College.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald White; two sons, John White of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Jess White of Wellington, New Zealand; one daughter, Kathy Farrington of Little Rock, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Mabel White of Decorah; and brothers-in-law Don and Ervin White of Decorah, and Richard White of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Atlanta Christian Cursillo, c/o Bobby Unysun, P.O. Box 652, Alpharetta, Georgia 30009-0652.
