Frances Inglett, 80, of rural Mabel, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m., at the Hesper Lutheran Church in Hesper, with the Rev. Hans Floan officiating.

Burial was at the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery. The Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel, Minn., handled arrangements.

Frances was born March 16, 1918, in Hesper Township of Winneshiek County, the daughter of Lawrence and Fannie (Welch) Iverson.

She attended the Mabel (Minn.) High School and on July 4, 1940, was married to Ervin Inglett in Decorah.

The couple remained in Hesper Township their entire lives. Ervin died Aug. 10, 1985.

Frances was a member of the Hesper Lutheran Church in Hesper.

Survivors include four sons, Carroll Inglett of Mabel, Minn., Lowell and Elaine Inglett of Decorah, Neil and Pat Inglett of Beloit, Wis., and Dayl and Julie Inglett of Ames; six grandchildren, Tami and Rick Fencl of Farmington, Minn., Tina and Dale Hovden of Decorah, Christine Inglett of Beloit, Wis., and Patrick, Nicholas and Stephanie Inglett of Ames; four great grandchildren, Erin and Christopher Fencl, and Kelsey and Kenzie Hovden; one sister, Lorraine and Wayne Harkness of Mabel, Minn.; sister-in-law Frances Scharburg of Brownsdale, Minn.; and brother and sister-in-law Arden and Jeanette Inglett of Mabel, Minn.

Frances Inglett was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin, and her parents.
