David Henry Seelye, 59, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at his home in Darby, Montana.

Memorial services will be held at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church Friday, Nov. 3, at 10:30 a.m., with a reception to follow. Burial will be at the Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak.

David Henry Seelye was born Jan. 18, 1941, in Decorah. He was the son of Harold Seelye and Dorothy (Bucknell) Seelye.

He married Rosemary Christopher Nov. 3, 1966, in Decorah. They were later divorced.

Survivors include four daughters, Kristi Gossman, Traci Seelye, Lori Dietzenbach and Terri Seelye; his brother, Fred Seelye; his sister, Doris Etteldorf; and nine grandchildren.

David Seelye was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eileen and Gertrude; and a brother, Eugene.
