Rites Are Held For Frank J. Elvart At Frankville Church

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 6, at the Frankville Community Presbyterian Church for Frank Joseph Elvart, who passed away at University Hospital in Iowa City on August 3, following an eight month illness. The rites were in charge of Rev. Calvin Willemssen of Lansing. Burial was at Mt. Hope cemetery in Chicago.

Frank Joseph Elvart was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 5, 1880 and passed away at University Hospital, Iowa City, August 3, 1953.

During his lifetime he lived in Chicago, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Frankville and received his education at St. Francis Theological college. He was married to Daisy Jennings on June 27, 1942. They moved to Frankville in 1946 where he followed the occupation of painter and decorator. He was a member of the Frankville Community Church.

He is survived by his wife; three children of a previous marriage, Ray of Park Ridge, Illinois, May Mangerich and Evelyn Steffen of Chicago; and seven grandchildren.
