Lambert, Fremont Harlan -- 1862 - 1946

Fremont Harlan Lambert, eldest son of Enos S. and Esther Holcomb Lambert was born near Castalia, December 21, 1862, and passed away February 13, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minn., being 83 years, 2 months and 23 days. Funeral services were held here Saturday afternoon.

He was united in marriage to Nettie Steinhelber March 28, 1889. To this union was born one son, who preceded his father in death, leaving three small sons. His wife preceded him in death some years ago.

He leaves to mourn his departure his three grandsons, three brothers and four sisters: Dr. J. S. Lambert of Chicago, Ill., J. W. Lambert of Postville, G. M. Lambert of Luana, Mrs. E. O. Riggs of Ames, Mrs. A. J. Fox of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. W. F. Ebersole of Tama, Mrs. A. G. Frahar of Bend, Oregon. One sister, Mrs. V. A. Carlton, preceded him in death.

He lived the greater part of his life since he was married, in Minneapolis. A nephew whom he raised, Donald Steinhelber, took care of him in his declining years.

Pallbearers were Del Downing, Roy Cambpell (sic), Burdell Sphar, Frank Harvey, Ward Bachelder, Carlaus Meyer.
