Funeral services for Gertrude M. Yarwood, 74, of Decorah, were held Friday, February 2 at Decorah Lutheran Church. Fjelstul Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Frankville Cemetery. Rev. James M. Glesne and Rev. John V. Halvorson were officiating clergymen.

Gertrude "Gertie" Yarwood, daughter of Earl Ronaldo and Sophie Charlotte (Hager) Livingood, was born Sept. 27, 1915 at Frankville, Iowa. She died Jan. 30, 1990 in the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah.

She attended rural schools in Winneshiek County in the Frankville area. She lived in the Frankville and Nordness area, also southeast Minnesota and Glenwood Township, then moved to Decorah in the early 1950's.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 1 brother and 1 sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Olga) Krambeer.

Surviving are 2 sons: Clinton A. Yarwood of Broken Arrow, OK and Glenn M. Yarwood of Wayne, PA; a daughter, Joann E. Thomas of Gilberts, IL, and a sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Glen Schave) of Gunder, Iowa.

Pallbearers were Daniel Krambeer, Raymond Watson, Tony Krambeer, Clinton Alan Yarwood, Jr., Brandon Lee Yarwood and Glenn Martin Yarwood, Jr.
