Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 21, at Glenwood Lutheran Church for Janet Larson, 34, formerly of the Frankville and Glenwood area, who died Sept. 16 of cancer in Allentown, Penn. Pastor James K. Hensen officiated.

Born June 29, 1945 in Decorah, Iowa to Wesley and Marie (Hangartner) Snitker, she attended Frankville schools and graduated from Postville High School. She married Clark R. Larson Aug. 17, 1963 at the Frankville Community Church.

Survivors include her husband, father, and children, Joni, Jeni, and Tony, still at home. Other survivors include six brothers and six sisters: Gary Snitker of Cody, Wyo.; Gale Snitker of Belle, Mo.; Grant Snitker of Waukon; Gorman Snitker of Keota; Gregory Snitker of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Gordon Snitker of Postville; Mrs. Kenneth Strand of Forest City; Mrs. Charles Vaupel of Allentown, Penn.; Mrs. Floyd Ashbacher of Decorah; Mrs. Leon Felke of Decorah; Mrs. Karla Eldridge of Marion and Mrs. Rick Hughes of Postville.
