Funeral services were held for Max Moore at the Community church in Frankville on Thursday afternoon, June 9, with the Rev. Martin of Castalia officiating. Mrs. Will Timmerman and Mrs. Merle Stee sang accompanied by Mrs. Blake Albright. The pallbearers were Charles and Earl Linderbaum, Sylvan Lenth, Olaf Russett, Charles Ohloff and Mike Thiel. Burial was made in the Frankville cemetery.

Max Moore passed away at the Postville Hospital Monday following a short illness, after being stricken with a heart attack while driving his tractor at his farm home near here.

He is survived by his wife, the former Maxine Schneider, and the following children: Max, Jr., Robert, Ruby, David and Pearl, all at home. Two sister, Mrs. Lillian Schneider and Carol Moore, both of Frankville.
