Services for Allen Elder of Ridgeway were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 23, at Lindstrom Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Wiese officiated with interment in Phillips Cemetery at Bonair. Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He Died Wednesday, October 21, 1992, at Howard County Hospital at the age of 66.

Allen Elder was born June 6, 1926, in Howard County, the son of Robert and Lovina (Walker) Elder.

On July 3, 1947, he married Vivian Fitzgerald at Lime Springs. They farmed near Ridgeway.

He is Survived by his wife, Vivian; his sons, Michael of Plainview, MN and Raymond of Ridgeway: four granddaughters; sisters, Jena Szoke of Burbank, CA, Helen Conner of Portland, OR and Lois Amundson of Pecan Gap, TX; and brothers, Don Elder of San Juan, Puerto Rico and Jim Elder of Cresco.

Preceding him in death were two Brothers, Gordon and Raymond.
