Koenig Child Is Accident Victim

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran Church in Castalia for Ronelle Susan Koenig, 2, who was killed accidentally when run over by a car at her farm home near Castalia on Wednesday of last week. The Rev. Walter Pfeffer conducted the rites.

Ronelle Susan Koenig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Koenig, of Castalia, was born November 23, 1958 at the Postville Hospital. She passed away at the Community Memorial Hospital in Postville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, at the age of two years, seven months and five days.

She is survived by her parents; four brothers, Roger, Robert, Dennis and Michael; her grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Koenig and Mrs. August Snitker; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was baptized December 21, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church in Castalia by the late Rev. Meinen.
