Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church at Frankville for Mrs. Roy Kneeskern, 87, who passed away Tuesday, October 14 at the Retirement Center in Decorah. The Rev. Yusuke Hidaka officiated.

As Daisy Chewning, Mrs. Kneeskern was born December 2, 1881, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Adelaide Woods Chewning. For many years she was bookkeeper at the creamery in Frankville. She was also correspondent for Postville Herald for many years.

Her husband, Roy Kneeskern, preceded her in death. One daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Daniel Russett) of Calmar and one son, Dean Kneeskern, of Des Moines, survive. Burial was in the Frankville Cemetery.
