Scott Lee O'Hara

Services Held For Scott O'Hara, 16, Accident Victim

Services were held Tuesday, October 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Castalia, for Scott Lee O'Hara who died early Sunday morning, October 15, in an auto accident near Monona. The Rev. Arthur Tolo officiated.

Born March 14, 1956 at Postville, the son of Leo M. and JoAnn Engelhardt O'Hare, Scott had spent his childhood and youth in Castalia with the exception of a few months in 1967 when they lived in Tripoli.

Scott was baptized April 15, 1956 at the Castalia Zion Lutheran Church by the Rev. Edgar Zelle and was confirmed May 2, 1971 at the Castalia Zion Lutheran Church by Rev. Arthur J. Tolo. He was currently vice president of the Luther League and was a member of the Youth Bible class.

He was a junior in the Postville high school and his strong interest in athletics was fulfilled as a member of the Postville Pirates football team.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers and three sisters, Michael, Mark, David, Lynn, Traci and Lisa, all at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Engelhardt of Castalia; maternal great grandmother, Mrs. R. W. Engelhardt of Postville; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Klein of Guttenberg, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Castalia Youth Dies In Accident
Scott O'Hara, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo O'Hara, Castalia, died as the result of an auto accident early Sunday morning on the Monona-Marquette road near Watson. Apparently O'Hara was a passenger in this auto driven by Gary Grinna, 17, Frankville. Grinna was hospitalized in Waukon following the accident. O'Hara was a student at the Postville Community school and a member of the Postville undefeated football team.
