Howard C. Gaunitz

Howard C. Gaunitz, 72, of Texarkana, TX died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at his home. Services were held Friday, February 22 at Texarkana Funeral Home in Texarkana, TX, with Milton Bradley and the Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial was in Rondo Memorial Cemetery.

Howard Gaunitz was born December 18 in Stuart. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a member of the Civil Air Patrol and First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. He was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Cooper.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Charline Gaunitz of Texarkana; two daughters, Tina Gray of Decorah, and Elaine Berry of Texarkana; four sons, Jerry Gray of Indonesia, Robbie Gray and Gary Cooper of Texarkana, and Paul Cooper of Linden, TX; one sister, Collen Musgrove of Washington; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
