Thursday, January 31, 2008Cecil Theodore Johnson, age 91, passed away in Prescott, Ariz., on Jan. 26, 2008. Cecil was born in Decorah, Iowa, on Sep. 24, 1916.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lilabelle Johnson; his son Eric Oren Johnson; and sister Vneda Haugen. Cecil is survived by his son Phillip Johnson and wife Rosalean; granddaughter Carrie Olson and husband Ron; grandsons Mark Johnson and Christopher Johnson; great-grandchildren Randy, Daniel and Tommy Olson and Nichole, Chelsey and Derek Johnson; and sister Gail Carey and husband Ken.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday, Feb. 2, with visitation one hour before the service at Green Acres Mortuary Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prescott Hospice Family Care Foundation, 100 E. Sheldon St., Ste. 100, Prescott, AZ 86301 in memory of Cecil Johnson.
