RAYMIE RAUSCH BURIED FRIDAY

Raymond, (Raymie) Rausch, 70, died Monday, Sept. 1 at the Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wis., following a long illness.

Funeral services were concelebrated Friday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Nepomucene Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson by the Rev. Allen Schmitt and the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Donald Heineman. Jeanette Kruse was organist. Singers were Robert J. Martin, Kristal Lensing, and St. John's adult choir. Trumpeter was Bob Huinker. Accolyte was Adam Skretta. Eucharistic minister was Laure Rausch and lector was Pat Martin.

Pallbearers were Steve Rausch, Rick Rausch, Robert Rausch, Ben Martin, Casey Martin and Mike Darnall. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Rausch was born September 21, 1926 to Julius and Mary (Neuzil) Rausch at Fort Atkinson. He was graduated from Fort Atkinson High School and was in the U. S. Army from 1945-1947.

April 18, 1950 he married Lois Martin at St. John's Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson. He lived in Fort Atkinson all his life. He was part owner and salesman of Rausch Chevrolet. He also worked for the city of Fort Atkinson, maintained the state park at the Fort and was a bus driver for Turkey Valley Community School for 28 years. He was a member of the Turkey River Post No. 3902 of the VFW; the Catholic Order of Foresters No. 58; and the HuberSteffes American Legion No. 672.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a son.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs Earl (Cindy) Lensing, Fort Atkinson; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Arthur Rausch, Fort Atkinson; and one sister, Gertrude Meyer, Fort Atkinson.
