Mrs. EDWARD (Margaret Ellen Bollman) GREEN 1872-1958

Rites Held For Mrs. Maggie Green

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Margaret Green, 84, who passed away at the home of her son, Chester Green, Thursday. The Rev. W. T. Martin was in charge of the rites. Burial was in Minert cemetery at Postville.

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Green, affectionately know as Maggie Green, died Thursday, October 4, 1958 at the home of her son Chester Green near Castalia, at the age of 84 years.

The daughter of Moses and Nancy Harris Bollman, she was born January 13, 1872, near Castalia.

She married to Edward Warren Green on November 15, 1893 at Decorah, Iowa. To this union two daughters and three sons were born, all of whom survive. They are: Mrs. L. C. Sheppard (Irene) of Worland, Wyoming; Mrs. H. E. McLain (Bernice) of Donna, Texas; Ralph of Postville; Chester and Kenneth of Castalia. Mrs. Green is also survived by five brothers: Talott, Ferrell and Fenton Bollman of Caldwell, Idaho; Oberton Bollman of Oakland, California; Vives Bollman of Castalia, and one sister, Mrs. B. W. Post of Spokane, Washington. There are 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren surviving.

Mrs. Maggie Green's husband died on June 15, 1951.

Mrs. Green was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Postville.

Her entire married life was spent on the Green farm four miles northeast of Castalia.
