Mother of J.H. Baker Dies at Decorah Home

Funeral Services held Saturday
Born in 1845

Mrs. J. H. Baker of Decorah, mother of J. H. Baker of Osage, died last Tuesday after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, and interment was in Phelps cemetery, Decorah.

Mrs. Baker was born on Oct. 1, 1845, in the state of New York. She had been a resident of Decorah for about sixty years, going there from Conover, where she and her husband resided for a short time after their marriage.

Of four sons born to them three survive-
J. H. of Osage, G.F. of Decorah, and Herbert of Chicago.
Mr. Baker died many years ago.
