HYMENEAL.

At Minneapolis on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd, Miss Gladys Spurr, daughter of Mrs. Nettie Spurr, and Elmer H. Erickson were united in marriage. The event was a surprise to relatives as well as acquaintances, as no intimation that it was contemplated was given. Mr. And Mrs. Erickson came to Decorah for Christmas, Mrs. Erickson remaining for a visit of a week or more with her mother and other relatives. The bride has been a resident of Decorah since childhood and has many friends who join in extending best wishes. The groom was formerly a student at Luther College, Mr. and Mrs. Erickson will make their home at Devils Lake, N. D.
