HYMENEAL.
Yesterday at twelve o’clock, at the First Lutheran church, Miss Anna G. Wist, daughter of Vice Consul and Mrs. J. B. Wist, and John M. Trytten of Albert Lea were united in marriage, the ceremony being performed in the presence of a numerous company of relatives and friends, by Rev. E J. Ovri of Pellican Rapids, Minn., an uncle of the groom. Miss Marie Schmitz of Freeport, Ill., was maid of honor, and the Misses Margret Wist of Webster, S. D., and Edna Wollan of Glenwood, Minn., and Luella Lee were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Merriam Trytten, Henry Talle, Joseph Wist and Gilbert Trytten.
Following the ceremony the wedding dinner was served at the Winneshiek hotel. Last evening a large company of young people were entertained by the Wist home in honor of the event. The bride is a young lady of grace and charm whose personal worth is attested by all who enjoy her acquaintance. Since completing her studies at Decorah high school she has prepared for teaching by attendance at the University of Wisconsin and recently has been engaged in the parochial school of the church where she was married. The groom graduated in 1911 from Luther College and soon after entered educational work. He has recently been a member of the Crookston high school faculty, and next year goes to Minnewaukon, N. D., in the capacity of superintendent. He and Mrs. Trytten will go to Madison where they will attend the university during the summer semester. Wherever life’s duties may lead them they will be followed by the best wishes of many friends.
Among those from out of town who were in attendance at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. O. C, Trytten and sons Olaf and Edwin, of Albert Lea, J. Aasve of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Fred Strebber of Madison, Wis.
