Ward, 50th Wedding Anniversary 1909

The six remaining children of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ward were all at home last week, and as the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ward occurs Dec. 25th it was made convenient to celebrate the event in warmer weather than Christmas. Accordingly Friday evening, the 8th, about eight friends met at the Ward home and had a gay time. The children, Mrs. Clara Graham from Sioux Falls, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Phil Potter from Ida county, Mrs. Allie Potter from Pasadena, Cal., Mrs. Nellie Manning from Sattre, Mr. and Mrs.Stephie Pierce from Canoe were titled attendants, not excepting the son Herb. Ward, our genial barber.
