Golden Wedding Anniversary.
On Monday last Postmaster Landon and his go{o}d wife, of Burr Oak, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary by a gathering of their children and grandchildren in honor of the day. We suspect modesty intervened, else some mention of the event would be found in our Burr Oak correspondence. At any rate we know that the occasion was one of great happiness to those who were permitted to participate in it. Mr. and Mrs. Landon are two of the oldest residents of Burr Oak and the congratulations of many friends are extended upon this golden milestone in their lives.
