Wedded on Tuesday.
At the home of the bride’s parents at 1744 Marshall Ave., St. Paul, on Tuesday the 10th inst., occurred the marriage of Mr. William Hunter of Jackson, Minn., and Miss Flora Baker, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Baker former residents of Decorah. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Wellington McVettie, rector of Grace Episcopal church, Decorah. The acquaintance which ripened into this union was formed while the bride was a teacher in the schools at Jackson, some seven years ago. The groom is one of the foremost young business men of that city, being cashier of the First National Bank and enjoying the confidence and esteem of the community. His bride is a young lady of refinement and education who has been a successful teacher at various points, more recently in Minneapolis. Many acquaintances and friends in Decorah join in extending congratulations and good wishes.
