A Quiet Home Wedding.
[Calmar Courier.]
Wednesday evening, Oct. 7th, 1908, James Frank Koons and Miss Amelin Peterson, familiarly known as Miss Millie Peterson, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Paul Koren tying the nuptial knot, at the home of the bride’s mother.
It was a very quiet affair, only members of the family being present.
The bride was born and reared in this town and holds the highest esteem of those who have the pleasure of her acquaintance. For a number of years, up to within a few days of her marriage, she was deupty{sic} postmistress here, in which capacity she served very efficiently. The groom is a worthy young man, and is a railway postal clerk.
We join their many friends in wishing them the best of everything.
