SCHANCK—MCMULLEN
Monday evening at the Methodist parsonage, Rev. W. E. Van Buren officiating, occurred the marriage of Bernard H. Schanck and Miss Mattie M. McMullen. The ceremony was witnessed by relatives only and Mr. and Mrs. Schanck departed on the evening train for the east. On their return they will make their home in Decorah. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Schanck of Decorah, a young man whose character and personal worth is attested by everyone who knows him. His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McMullen of Canoe township. She has been a successful teacher in the rural schools of the county for several years and is held in high esteem by her friends. The congratulations and good wishes of many acquaintances will be the portion of Mr. and Mrs. Schanck.
