MARRIED.
BOYD—MARLOW.
Last evening at the residence of the bride, on Winnebago street, this city, Rev. M. Millett, D. D., officiating, Miss Josie Marlow, and Mr. A. Boyd, of Oquawka, Ill.
It will please the numerous friends of Mrs. Boyd to know that this is the result of an acquaintance in early life, when they lived near Mt. Vernon, Ohio. This was recently renewed, and easily ripened into a closer relation that has features promising a happy life. It takes from our city one highly esteemed by her intimate friends, and whom we hope will be duly appreciated in the new circle of acquaintances into which she will shortly enter. Mr. Boyd is a business man in Oquawka—a druggist by training, also a college bred man and a Presbyterian in his religious faith. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd will remain a few days, perhaps a week, before going to their home in Oquawka, an Illinois city on the Mississippi river, a few miles above Burlington in this state. The REPUBLICAN sincerely believes this is a union that promises many years of happy life.
