DIXSON—FRANCISCO.
At the home of the bride's parents in this city, yesterday morning, at eight o’clock, before a company of about forty near relatives and friends, Mr. Harry A. Dixson and Miss Lotta A. Francisco, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Francisco, were united in marriage, Rev. H. H. Green, D. D., officiating. The occasion was a most happy one, made more so, possibly, by the bright, warm sunshine of a perfect June day. Roses, ferns and other cut flowers in profusion were used to decorate the rooms and the bay window of the sitting room formed a bower of syringas and foliage where the ceremony was performed, The wedding procession, as it entered the room to the stains of Mendellssohn’s wedding march, was lead by Miss Ethel Francisco und Master Glen Dixson, sister and brother of the bride and groom. They were followed by the groom and Dr. Green, and the bride entered last upon her father's arm. She was attired in a gown of white India linen trimmed with lace insertion. The Episcopal ring service was used for the ceremony following which Mr. and Mrs. Dixson received the congratulations of the company. After a delicate wedding breakfast they took the train for St. Paul, going from thence to Duluth and by boat to Buffalo, and up into Canada where they will visit relatives. They will return by way of Detroit and Chicago. The bride is one of Decorah's brightest young ladies, who has won the esteem and friendship of a wide circle of acquaintances. Though not in reality a resident of the city Mr. Dixson has been identified with Decorah in a business and social way for so long a period that he has made friends of many of our people who join In hearty wishes for a life of prosperity and happiness to him and Mrs. Dixson.
