Immaculate Conception Academy.
The fourteenth annual commencement exercises of the Immaculate Conception Academy took place last evening at the school building on John street. The program was one which afforded much pleasure to the large audience that was in attendance, and consisted of a long list of vocal and instrumental numbers, recitations, essays, etc. The graduates this year are Misses Clara Schmitz and Elizabeth Powers and Master William McKay. Each one contributed several numbers to the program and their work was a credit to their instructors and the institution. A gold medal for the completion of the course in music was conferred upon William McKay.
