—A not altogether unexpected event occurred in Chicago on Wednesday of last week when Henry F. Thompson and Miss Nellie F. Wingaard were united in marriage. Mr. Thompson is well known as a capable employee in the mechanical department of E. W. Hoyt’s hardware store, and his bride is a Decorah girl who enjoys the friendship of a large circle of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson returned to Decorah last Saturday and will be at home after the 15th at 511 east Main street.
