The marriage of James Headington and Louie Gates took place at the bride’s home on Wednesday last. The ceremony was performed on the veranda at 12 m., with eighty witnesses. Rev. R. E. J. Thompson officiated, this being his first wedding on his new work. A sumptuous dinner was served, many presents received, with hearty wishes for a happy future. A new house is fast nearing completion for their occupancy.
