Invitations are out for the marriage on the 31st of Geo. Elijah to Miss Gladys Sharp, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Jared Sharp.

A Burr Oak Wedding.
At the home of Mr. Jared N. and Mrs. Hannah Sharp, of Burr Oak, Ia., Oct. 31, 1900, occurred the marriage of their only child, Miss Gladys Winnie Sharp, to Mr. George A. Elijah. Miss Gail Gustafson, of Haverhill, Iowa, played the wedding march which ushered the contracting parties into the presence of a company of relatives and friends who had gathered to witness the ceremony and to “wish them much joy.” Fitting words were spoken by Eld. J. Ridley which made them husband and wife. The presents were many and appropriate.
