Yesterday morning at nine o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents in Freeport Miss Frances Klein, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klein, and James E. Lappen were united in marriage. They departed on the morning train for a brief wedding journey in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Miss Klein is claimed by Decorah, as the family was for many years resident here, and she enjoys the esteem of a large circle of friends, who wish her abundant happiness. Mr. Lappen, through his connection with the American Pulp, Linen and Fibre Co., has become well known not only in Decorah but throughout the county as one of our energetic young business men.
Mr. and Mrs. Lappen will be at home to their friends after May 25th, in the O. P. Thompson residence on east Broadway.
