At the home of the bride’s parents on the evening of Jan. 23d were married P. A. Peterson and Miss Clara Miller, two of our estimable young people, both of whom were born and raised in Calmar. Rev. Blessine, of Eldorado, performed the ceremony. After the ceremony all present partook of the splendid repast under which the tables stood in waiting, and at 11 o’clock, with a fitting send-off from the Calmar Band, a plentiful sprinkling of rice, and a goodly shower of miscellaneous old shoes, the happy couple took the train for Milwaukee, where, and at other points east of the Mississippi, they are putting in a part of the honeymoon. May their path be bright and happy.
