Goes to La Crosse for Bride.
Mr. Elmer Gibbs, of the firm of Price & Gibbs, proprietors of the Decorah Granite Works, was united in marriage at La Crosse, Wis., on Monday morning at 9 o’clock to Miss Lark Smith, the ceremony taking place at her home after which they went to Kensett, Iowa, for a honeymoon visit at the home of his brother, Dr. H. E. Gibbs. They will return to Decorah within a week and will make their home on River Street.
The groom is an enterprising, popular young business man, the youngest son of E. T. Gibbs, of Cresco, and a gentleman who bears the respect and esteem of all who know him. His chosen bride is said to be a charming, accomplished lady of grace and refinement.
