When Prof. L. B. Parsons left Decorah Monday it was understood among his friends and acquaintances that on his return he would bring Miss Alice St. John, of Lakefield, Minn., as his bride. The wedding occurred yesterday noon at the home of the bride. Although Prof. Parsons’ residence in Decorah has covered but a year, he has found time outside his duties as assistant principal in the public schools to form the acquaintance of many of our residents and won for himself a place in their esteem. The friendship that is felt for him will be kindly passed over to Mrs. Parsons with the genial wish of old Rip Van Winkle, "May you live long and prosper."
