A Golden Wedding.
Those very excellent people Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Reed, last week Wednesday passed into the second half of a century of wedded unity and happiness. The observance of the event called together a goodly company of children, grand children and other relatives; and so far as loving wishes can go they were splendidly started on their way to a diamond anniversary. May this be granted to them with health as well as happiness as their portion is the wish of this REPUBLICAN.
Among those attending the anniverversary{sic} were Mr. Elias Topliff, of Kansas, a brother of Mrs. R, Mrs. Frank Orr, of Monona, and Mrs. Dresser and son, and Miss Wright of Postville.
