NICKERSON—HITCHCOCK.
Friends of Miss Bessie Hitchcock and Mr. James B. Nickerson were surprised Monday afternoon to learn that they were married at 12 o’clock that day. The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. Willett at the home of the bride’s mother, and was witnessed by relatives only. Mr. and Mrs. Nickerson departed on the Burlington train for Omaha, where their home will be in the future. The bride is a young lady who has lived all her life in Decorah and is well and favorably known to a large circle of acquaintances. The groom has been stenographer in the office of E. R. Acres for the better part of the past year and by his gentlemanly bearing and pleasing address has established himself in terms of friendship with not a few. The best wishes of the friends of both go with them as they start upon life’s journey together.
