Matrimonial.
Last evening at 6 o’clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Stortz, by the aid of Rev. M. Willett, D. D., Mr. Elmer W. Cutting and Miss Josie Stortz passed over from single blessedness into the state of matrimony. It is a marriage that in every respect promises all the comfort and happiness that two fitly mated can expect. Mature in years, cultured in mind, vigorous in physique, with strong mental equipoise—what more can be asked as a substantial basis for lives of happiness and usefulness? Mr. Cutting worked his way through an education and into a law practice that affords a promise of reasonable rewards; while Miss Stortz has been for years one of the best of our corps of city school teachers, whose place will not be at once filled. The event that unites them was a pleasant one and was witnessed by a large circle of relatives and friends. They at once enter upon the occupancy of their own home, which has been prepared on Maple avenue.
