This afternoon at five o’clock will occur the fiftieth anniversary of the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Riggs. A few of the near relatives will assemble at their home and assist in commemorating the event. Fifty years ago to-day Cyrus B. Rigggs{sic} and Catharin Lambert were married in Madison Co., Ind. In 1854 they moved to Iowa and settled on the farm where they still make their home, thus having lived continuously forty-seven years on the same spot and are entitled to rank among the early pioneers. The four remaining children will be present to assist in celebrating this, their parents’ golden wedding, wish them God speed and many recurring anniversaries of their wedding day
