Married Last Evening.
Last evening at the home of the brine’s{sic} parents in this city, Miss Mabel Thompson, the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thompson, was united in marriage with Wm. G. Kennedy, Rev. Dr. Willett officiating. The event was an unexpected one to all save the most intimate friends. Miss Thompson, is a young lady in every way worthy of all the good things that life may bring. Since the family has resided in Decorah she has won many friends by her lovable disposition and character. Mr. Kennedy is one of the prosperous young farmers of Decorah township, one who who{sic} is regarded very highly by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The REPUBLICAN extends its warmest congratulations.
