Married.
THOMPSON—BRECKENRIDGE.—At the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. John Breckenridge, on Tuesday evening, May 2d, Mr. Murray Edwin Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Thompson, and Miss Clarissa Paige Breckenridge, Rev. Mahlon Willett, D. D., officiating.
A company of upwards three score witnessed this ceremony, and a spirit of delightful jollity prevailed; all because it is a union that promises harmony and happiness to the parties most interested, and has the hearty approval of a large circle of friends. The only cloud in the sky is in the possibility it means a removal far from the home nest. The Breckenridge home was beautifully decorated for the occasion with flowers and plants; the presents were many, rich, useful and valuable, including as it did a handsome purse of money. After two hours of pleasant intercourse the company broke up, and Mr. and Mrs. Thompson began life’s journey together by taking the late evening train with Winnipeg as their destination.
