WELCH—UPDEGRAFF
Yesterday morning at the home of the bride’s mother, Miss Cassandra Updegraff, second daughter of Mrs. W. B. Uudegraff,{sic} and George Clifton Welch were united in marriage by Rev. M. Willett. The ceremony was attended by relatives and a few intimate friends and after the wedding breakfast Mr. and Mrs. Welch departed for Denver where the groom is engaged in the insurance business. Mrs. Welch has known Decorah as her home since childhood and is a young woman of social and intellectual accomplishments that have drawn her the high regard of a large circle of friends. The groom is a young man of pleasing presence. The acquaintance that he has formed during several visits here, and the friends of Mrs. Welch join in extending hearty congratulations.
