BERNATZ—GRAF.
This morning at six o’clock Bertram C. Bernatz, second son of George Bernatz, and Miss Marie Graf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Graf of Calmar, were united in marriage at St. Benedict’s church, Rev. Father Howe officiating. They go from here to Calmar where a reception will be tendered them at the bride’s home after which they will journey to Milwaukee for a short visit.
This is a wedding which has been anticipated by friends of Mr. and Mrs. Bernatz for some time. The bride, though a resident of Calmar, is well known in Decorah where she shares with her husband the respect and esteem of a large host of friends. The groom is one of our successful and enterprising young business men, and has shown his thrift by preparing for his bride a home on the west side where they will reside on their return from Wisconsin.
